Which mysteries are prayed today?
Rosarium works it out on its own, every day. This is how the mysteries are spread over the week; on Sundays the liturgical season decides: the Joyful Mysteries in Advent and Christmas, and the Sorrowful in Lent.

How it is prayed
- 20 mysteries in four sets: Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious.
- For each decade: 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and 1 Glory Be, with the Fatima Prayer.
- At the end: the Litany of Loreto and the Hail, Holy Queen in full.

How it is prayed
- Prayed on ordinary rosary beads.
- Opening: the prayer “You expired, Jesus…”, the threefold “O Blood and Water”, the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Creed.
- On each decade: 1 “Eternal Father…” and 10 “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion…”.
- Closing: the threefold “Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One” and the final prayer.
When
Especially at three in the afternoon, the Hour of Mercy, and on Divine Mercy Sunday.
Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel

How it is prayed
- Nine salutations, one for each choir of angels: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels and Angels.
- Each salutation: 1 Our Father and 3 Hail Marys.
- At the end: 4 Our Fathers, to St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and your Guardian Angel, with the antiphon and Leo XIII’s prayer to St. Michael.

For spiritual battle: protection against evil, temptations and times of inner struggle.

How they are prayed
- Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows and Joys: the seven episodes in the life of the Guardian of the Redeemer, from his doubt before the angel’s message to the loss of the Child in the Temple, meditated one by one with their own prayers.
- Rosary of St. Joseph: with the “Hail Joseph” in place of the Hail Mary, the Memorare and the Litany of St. Joseph in its official text (2021).
When
On Wednesdays, St. Joseph’s traditional day; on the 19th of each month, and in March, his month.
Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows of Mary

How it is prayed
- Opening with the act of contrition.
- Seven sorrows, from Simeon’s prophecy to the burial of Jesus, each meditated with 1 Our Father and 7 Hail Marys.
- Closing: 3 Hail Marys in honor of Mary’s tears and the final invocation.
When
On Fridays, in Lent and on September 15, the memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows. Our Lady asked for it expressly in Kibeho (Rwanda).
